About This Campaign
MIT wrestling provides an outlet for students and other members of the MIT community to join guided practices to get a good workout in, learn high-level technique, and meet new people along the way. We are open to all levels of wrestling, whether you've wrestled all your life or are completely brand new! There are optional competitions from November through mid-March, ending with a national level tournament for those who qualify and choose to go.
MIT Wrestling strives for excellence and community. Wrestling is a sport that promotes character development, as well as athletic performance. MIT Wrestling ends up representing MIT nationally, with the opportunity to compete with over 100 other schools across the country at the NCWA national tournament in March.
How You Can Help
We need support to afford travel costs, cover team equipment, fund our excellent coaching staff, and other fees, such as for meet registration or reservation of MIT facilities.
We believe intelligence, an MIT education, and the energy, confidence, and discipline developed on the mat are an unbeatable combination. The success of MIT wrestlers–on the mat, in the classroom, and in life–speaks for itself.
$3k pays for 1 year of gear for the team, and $500 covers a tournament.
